Great, life-size, dinosaur sculptures! Great photo ops. There were even a couple Haunted house-type exhibits that you walk through. Very nice! Will definitely go again. Well worth our 3hr round trip. My family had a great time. There's even picnic tables for a nice lunch, and a nice play structure with two slides & three swings.
This is the park of my dreams! So eccentric & cool! Decided to go on a day-long journey centered around seeing this place. If you're specifically going far out of the way to visit, my advice is to plan on doing other things in the area as well. It's 30-40 minutes from Roan Mountain State Park & the drive there is pretty scenic.
Wear bug spray, be ready to take pictures, and bring cash (including 1s & 5s) for the donation box/gift shop!
I had such a wonderful time. It was so fun! The kids loved it. We should really help save these places.
Having experienced Fright Nights at Universal Studios in FL and being someone who doesn't scare easily, I have to say this attraction is excellent. The "actors" were very very good. I was very impressed with the props. Probably too scary for small children tho. If you like haunted houses, this is a must see.
Literally BACKYARD dinosaur!!! That’s was the best thing I had seen in such a long time! Very creative and imaginative. My boys loved it! I loved it!
